Your dentist will supervise you through the whole process. We will take impressions of your mouth and custom-make whitening trays.
We supply your custom-made trays with whitening gel to whiten your teeth at home. The process involves wearing the gel-filled trays for around 1 hour a day. That allows you to whiten your teeth from comfort of your home in a timeframe that suits you.
Most teeth whitening kits work using a bleaching agent, normally containing peroxide. This removes the stains from within the tooth that cause discolouration.
Before the whitening process, we need to ensure your teeth are suitable for the treatment. Therefore you should have an examination with your dentist prior to whitening. This ensures your teeth and gums are kept safe.
Since the procedure is painless, no injections are required. However, there may be temporary sensitivity or discomfort afterwards, but this will disappear within days.
A Complete Whitening Experience
Enlighten whitening works by increasing the tooth’s permeability to oxygen which breaks down stain molecules. It is a combination treatment, meaning that there is a 2 week home treatment followed by a 1 hour visit to the dentist.

Enlighten can whiten up to 16 shades. When used correctly all teeth will whiten dramatically.
No, natural teeth rarely look too white. Sometimes white crowns look out of place because they are made from porcelain.
No, sometimes you may need to change some of these after whitening.
You may get some sensitivity, however your dentist will give you easy to use desensitising swabs to take home, which will work immediately. You will also receive a tube of Tooth Serum toothpaste to brush with, while you wait for your trays, this also helps with sensitivity.
It takes two weeks for your dentist to receive your Enlighten Whitening trays. These are thin and comfortable and must be worn in bed for 14 nights, then on the 15th day you need to see your dentist for the second treatment which takes only 40 minutes.
Results can last indefinitely with some very simple maintenance, such as wearing the trays for 1 night every other month. Continuing to brush with Evo-White will also prolong results.
